- Review the proposed development plans, site layout, and earthworks information.
- Review applicable Council requirements, approval conditions, and relevant guidelines (e.g. Managing Urban Stormwater: Soils and Construction (Blue Book)).
- Assess potential erosion and sediment risks associated with the proposed construction works.
- Identify areas requiring erosion and sediment control measures.
- Design appropriate temporary erosion and sediment control measures, including sediment fences, diversion drains, check dams, sediment basins, stabilised site access, and stockpile protection, where required.
- Prepare an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) showing the location and details of all proposed control measures.
- Outline inspection, maintenance, and monitoring requirements throughout the construction period.
- Prepare a comprehensive ESCP.
